Hotel Kaštil

The A/C was never cool enough I was sweating! The pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Other than that the hotel and the staff were great. I loved the location in the middle of all the action.

Awesome location right in the heart of Bol. Next door is a cafe bar that had DJs at night and rocked. Well insulated rooms for the noise. Don't get a seaview room, the window is super small and when opened you could see a tiny bit of water through the pine trees. The AC is a central unit for the whole hotel so it's not cool at all in the room and quite hot in the summer. The mattresses were new and so the beds were very comfortable. TV easy to navigate. Never had fresh towels after room was cleaned so had to ask for some each day...Martina at the front desk is awesome, always asking for feedback to make things better. Breakfast is the typical scrambled eggs,cheese, cold cuts and bread. Don't expect any good fruit. Coffee is not hot. This hotel sits in a pedestrian zone and there is no parking anywhere close by so if you go by car be prepared to park far and walk to the hotel. It is right by the bus area though so if you come by bus it's perfect.

It is in a pedestrian zone and there in no parking around or close by. The bus drops you off close to the hotel or if you take the catamaran to Bol. If by car be prepared to drive around a lot just to fin a place to park and then to walk a bit to your hotel. There is no air conditioning. It's a central unit for the whole hotel so don't count on sleeping in cool air or with any sheets on you. I reserved a sea view room and when I opened my 2'X1' window all I could see is the pine trees and a bit of water through them so inquire about what you will really get for the money. The beds are very comfortable, they have all new mattresses. They don't give you fresh towels though so every day when we would come back to take a shower we would have no towels.the rooms are VERY small just big enough to fit the bed that's it. TV works great unlike many other places in Croatia. Great shower with good water pressure but the temperature would run hot and cold.Martina at the front desk was very very helpful and courteous and constantly asking for feedback. We really felt like part of the family there. The location is awesome, it is next door to a bar called Varadero that has the best music and dancing at night too. Yet if you want to sleep you hear nothing in your room.

Although we had booked for a two night stay in Kastil, the hotel were kind enough to only charge us for one night, after we arrived late due to illness. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and the room was very comfortable. The location couldn't be more ideal in the hub of Bol, with lots of nice bars and restaurants around. I would recommend hotel Kastil to anyone wishing to travel to Bol.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights. The room was very clean and the bathroom was excellent. Very close to restaurants and plenty to choose from. Only negative was that the hotel is around a 15-20m walk from the main tourist attraction (Zlatni Rat Beach). However, the route to the beach is very straight forward and pleasant.

Fine hotel with excellent restaurant. Centrally located on the seafront in Bol, 5 minutes walk from the pier for the Catamaran to Split/Hvar/Korcula. 10 minutes walk to the windsurfing / kitesurfing areas so stay closer to them if taking your own kit.

The location is absolutely perfect. If you're going to Bol you're probably going to be outside a lot so the medium sized room was fine. Room was clean with aircon.

This is our third visit to the Kastil. Thje location is perfect, the staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are not luxury but very clean and functional Breakfast is relaxed and good quality for Croatia and if the sun is shining there is no better place to eat than on the open terrace overlooking the harbour and the Adriatic

Perfect location - basic rooms but how much time do you want to spend in your room when you are on such a beautiful island. Not so well suited to children as no pool but beautiful harbourside location. Excellent restaurant, pizzeria and happening bar - could be a bit noisy in height of summer I would imagine. Wi-fi only works in hotel lobby but again, who comes on holiay to such a beautiful island in order to sit glued to their computer!! Couldn't recommend hotel or island highly enough.
