City Hotel Nattergalen

Close to the railway station, public transport and the city center. Rich selection at the breakfast buffet. The room and bathroom are fine.

Unbearably hot in the summer. The window opens to a noisy road with a bus stop with diesel buses. So, do not expect a good night's sleep. The building structure allows retrofitting with AC, I hope they will do that. The breakfast would be good, but the allergens are not indicated.

Mycket trevlig receptionist. Bra bemötande. Fick flera bra tips på restauranger. Fantastisk frukost. Härlig takterrass.

Väldigt varmt på rummet. Ingen AC.

Het was dicht bij het centrum en je was zo bij het H C Anderson house. Het prive parkeren als er plek is was ook heel fijn.

Het douche gordijn mag een keer vervangen of gewassen worden. Een airco is misschien lastig maar bij warme dagen heel fijn.

Locatie is goed. Vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt is prima. Voor de hitte staat een ventilator op de kamer.

Wij hadden een kamer met twee losse bedden gevraagd, kregen een zeer kleine kamer met een klein tweepersoonsbed waar een topper op lag die breder was dan het bed. Lees: je schuift steeds van het bed af. 1 kant stond ook nog tegen de muur. Zijn maar 1 nacht gebleven ipv 2 de 2 geboekte nachten.

The hotel is fairly close to the main station and to the town centre. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and well presented. Though a bit dated, everything worked fine. A small desk fan was provided, which helped in the heat. The breakfast was good enough.

The hotel is located on corner of the main road and a busy side road. The room was really hot and it was necessary to have the window open. The noise was extreme, with traffic, sirens, groups of loud people passing late at night, hoons in loud cars with doof doof music booming, loiterers outside the hotel, people shouting and arguing at 3am, etc, etc, etc. Noisy daytime and especially nighttime. Even with earplugs (some are provided by the hotel) it was terrible and ruined my stay. One of the noisiest places I've ever stayed, not recommended.

I like the kindness of people and the friendly environment and location.

The room is too noisy, first floor, close to the road, and very hot.
