I absolutely loved Pousada Beija Flor, truly everything about this place is amazing. The pousada is located in one of the most prestigious and safest neighborhoods in Salvador, which already makes the stay feel special and worry-free. The owners, Victor and Val, are simply incredible people. From the moment you arrive, they make you feel completely at home, with genuine warmth and care that you don’t find everywhere. And the breakfast… wow. Simply amazing , fresh, delicious, and prepared with so much love. It was one of the highlights of our stay. Everything about Pousada Beija Flor exceeded our expectations. I would come back in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, safety, and a truly welcoming experience in Salvador.

The room. We were put in a room with no view. The view on either side was limited by a wall 1.5 m away. Make sure you do not book the room in the middle of the building.

Lovely, charming pousada full of character in the heart of vibrant Pelourinho. We had a room overlooking the harbour with beautiful views from the balcony. The English-speaking owners were very helpful and gave great tips for restaurants and samba night. Everything was very clean, and the breakfast was fresh and well covered. Great value for money. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night on our last night in Salvador — we wish it had been longer. Definitely coming back.

We had a disappointing stay at this pousada. Upon entering the room, we immediately smelled a strong, unpleasant odor of dampness. The pillows had small worms. The shower drain didn't work properly and was always full of water. On the second night, we found ants in the bed and also saw a lizard. The photos on the booking and website are quite misleading; the room was very dirty, dusty, and poorly maintained. The only thing that saved the experience was the night staff member, who was very kind to us at all times. For the price charged, we expected much more.

Die Unterkunft war geräumig und der Balkon ist toll. Sie liegt in einer schönen Straße, wo viele Restaurants und Cafés sind.
