Hotel Puerta Gamboa

Breakfast was simple, but always freshly prepared (made to order) and quick. Much better than a buffet. Exactly what we wanted!

Excellent host. Clean comfortable room. Delicious freshly made breakfast. Great location.

Noisy bars nearby but we knew authors in advance.

My wife and I had a wonderful two day stay at the Hotel Puerta Gamboa two weeks ago. The hotel is very nice with a great location, close to the marina and the old parts of the City. The room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. What really separates this hotel from others is the owners, Fernando and his father. They are ever-present and can't do enough to make sure you have a wonderful time in their beautiful city. Their level of personal attention and service is tremendous. Directions, restaurant recommendations, very early check out, whatever you need. None of it was an issue. Overall, a great experience.

We loved our time in the hotel ! My husband and I are cycling the Camino and they made accommodations to store our tandem traveling bike. It’s a family owned hotel and you feel very welcomed from the father and son. Our breakfast was fresh and delicious.

Berry good location. Attractive decor. Extremely helpful staff.

The room was a bit small and for Australians quite expensive. No facilities for making a cup of tea.
