"Overnight in Rabat"

8.0

This is nice property. Staff was attentive and helped us find our way around. The taxi driver did not know where the hotel was, but an entrepreneur quickly led the way through the medina (common in Morocco - they look for small tip). The room was nicely decorated, very tall, but a bit small. Bathroom was clean but tiny. A nice place in Rabat.

"Close to entrance of Medina and Kasbah"

8.0

Friendly service, convenient location and traditional atmosphere. The rooms are a little narrow, and the lighting dim, which makes you feel a little claustrophobic.

Bed has cigratte burns. Taxi cant get to hotel. One has to walk about 250 meter to get in to hotel since its in old part of town. Staff was very freindly and help full.

"Beautiful rooms, lovely staff and great location!"

10.0

I definitely plan to stay at this Riad again on my next trip to Rabat. The location is just a short cab ride from Rabat Ville train station. If you don't have luggage and feel like a nice walk, you can meander down the gorgeous Mohammed V avenue, into the Medina and through the souks to the Riad. Each of the rooms are decorated a bit differently and are very clean and comfortable. In the bathrooms, you will find nice, soft bathrobes and a huge bath -- perfect for relaxing after a long day of walking. Waking up to eat a delicious breakfast on the terrace is a nice plus.

Very interesting - not the regular hotel, but a riad.

"Beautiful Riad in Media, Expect European Prices"

8.0

This is a beautiful riad in the heart of the Medina. It is ornate, comfortable, clean and heated unlike some Moroccan accommodations. A great place to spend a special night.Nice to have the option of supper and wine in house when arriving late but expect European prices. Also it is a bit intimidating to find after dark because it's tucked away in the medina.

"It takes you to the old days of Rabat..."

6.0

Its nice hotel with old style of Rabat and location wise is good like other hotel most of them near the old town of Rabat but it very difficult to find because its inside the old town...in general good hotel with good staff and clean but no reception and main entrances is just an old door and you will be giving a key to inter. Good experience if you really into old style.

"Nice, but best to bring earplugs just in case!"

8.0

We stayed at Riad dar el Kebira for 3 nights in the Oudayas room and we had a pleasant stay. The staff were nice and the riad itself feels quite homely. Breakfast is also quite generous. The room was really big, as was the bathroom. The curtains also totally blacked out the room, which was great. However, the room smelt a bit musty and felt like it hadn't been used in a while (but we don't know if this was actually the case!). The only issues we had were the fact that the room was on the ground floor and therefore it got quite noisy at times. This wasn't much of a problem for us as we'd brought earplugs, which we'd recommend in case you get this room. The shower also didn't have hot water once but it came back on about an hour later and didn't happen again for the duration of our stay. The location is quite good and there are loads of signs in the medina and from the beach telling you how to get there.
