Le seul bémol est l’isolation… On entendait notre voisin ronfler la nuit.

Lovely pool - quiet mostly and good for proper swimming, pretty gardens, very nice a/c reception/sitting space. Hammocks in garden.

Room very small, outdated and in need of renovation esp bathroom. We don’t mind basic but this was just miserable. Balcony too small to sit on and overlooked car park. Clean on arrival but only serviced weekly or if asked and even then not properly eg cups not washed/changed. Staff not unpleasant and would attend to requests for service when asked but did not anticipate or offer it and lacked competence, efficiency and friendliness in general, seeming unmotivated, unobservant of what was needed and unhappy. I could give numerous examples but the one that really bugged me was not clearing away glasses and cups from the pool area all day which attracted ants. I cleaned them up myself once and put them on a table in the breakfast/lunch area where they sat for another couple of hours before moved. Meanwhile staff would be sitting on sofas in reception on their phones etc., housekeeping staff often took a cigarette break in breakfast/lunch area and one member of staff regularly by pool to swim and sunbathe. I have never before experienced in Turkey the lack of hospitality and willingness to provide for and engage with guests that we encountered at this hotel. They just lacked the energy and relational skills required for the job and did not appear to be supervised or managed in any way. We considered complaining or changing hotels a couple of times but given the hassle and the positive aspects, which included them seeming like very nice people, we got through it by being good humoured and amused by the failings. It is with some regret that I say we will never return because there is a kind of sadness about the place somehow and I feel compassion more than grievance to have felt let down.

The location is perfect – quiet, cozy, and just a short walk from the marina. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared every morning. The true highlight of our stay was meeting the hotel’s co-owners – they are wonderful people who warmly welcomed us, shared local tips, and spoke with great love and knowledge about Azerbaijan. Their hospitality made our stay truly special.

Honestly, everything met our expectations. Nothing to complain about.
