Die Unterkunft war so schön wie auf den Bildern , der Swimmingpool war warm und schön. Leider hatten wir 3 Tage kein warmes Wasser beim Duschen. Trotzdem reklamieren wurde das nicht repariert

The Riad itself is stunning! So beautiful, lovely manicured grounds, gorgeous pool, wonderful rooms - in a slightly shabby chic way.

We arrived early at noon and were told we couldn’t get into our room until 3pm. Heck in time as it was being cleaned. At 3pm we still couldn’t get into our room- not fully clear but seemed wrong room was being cleaned. We’re told it would be 30 mins. In the end we couldn’t fully access our room till 5pm. On getting into our room, we only had one towel for the bathroom (four us including the teenagers). My wife asked at reception for further towels and was devised they would be delivered, they weren’t. After asking twice more we were advised to use the pool towels. Next day free our room been made up, we still only had one bathroom towel. No apology and just felt when we asked that we were being annoying them. Food in on site restaurant was distinctively average (with some being poor - my son couldn’t eat the margarita pizza it was so bad, confirmed view from my wife trying it). Locals dishes were better, but still only average. Waiting staff also didn’t seem to understand the menu. So on the menu was spaghetti- either tomato sauce, bolognaise, pesto or another - they didn’t understand pesto as option at all. Service at lunch was also very slow. Often some items coming much later. The location, the Riad is located down along direct track road. Now we had picked out of Marrakesh- but there is no shop options or other restaurant options immediately near by. So not even a shop to go buy bottled water. Finally, on our lunch bill there were included some items, which shouldn’t have been. These were removed for us to sign the lunch check. But on our final bill these items still appeared. I had booked the Riad, as it had rated very high - we were left felling had they lost some key staff and not invested in training replacement staff. Really missed on expectations, such a shame as the Riad s noted is gorgeous.
