The hotel looks much better from outside then inside. The lobby and bar down stairs is quite renovated , but thats all rooms are very poor and quite "oldschool" the worst are bathrooms...no AC, no fridge..WI fi free but really slow... small TV in some rooms not even working ( I had to change a room), parking in front of hotel quite expensive ( for Hradec) and shops around really very poor. I had to stay 4 nights for my bussines there and it was really too much :-( hoe next time will stay somewhere alse.

We stayed here for the Brutal Assault 2014 festival. The hotel itself is decent. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and breakfast was OK (vegetarian options available). Our room and public areas had free wifi, which was nice, but the connection was sometimes poor. On the downside the room had no air conditioning (not even a fan) and in the summer it was hot inside. An open window helped a bit. There was also no fridge, so we only had "summer temperature" drinks. And finally there was no "please do not disturb" sign for the door knob so we were waken up by maintenance every morning/forenoon. Never seen a hotel room with this missing before. It was an OK stay for 3 nights offered as a cheap "hotel + festival ticket" package, but I wouldn't use this hotel if I had to choose myself. Here are the pros and cons summed up: +friendly staff +clean +breakfast (some vegetarian options too) +free wifi (signal varies) +quiet -no air conditioning (not even a fan) -no fridge -no "do not disturb" sign

Staying in the hotel for the music festival, Brutal Assault. Everything was well organised. Hotel room was clean. No aircon so summer nights were a bit hot but windows open right up so that helped. Staff were helpful and wifi is free. Breakfast was average altho food in ground floor restaurant is amazing! Nothing really around the area of the hotel but I would def stay here again if going to the festival in the future.

Unten macht das Hotel einen sehr guten Eindruck. Leider die Zimmer rufen nach einer modernen Renovierung.

Hotel might look modern from outside ( as looks to be refurbished recently ), however this not necessary apply to hotel interior. Actually only ground floor ( reception, restaurant ) are renovated, while the rest ( especially meeting rooms ) dates back to 80's. Positive: free wi-fi, parking lot in front of hotel, they still allow to smoke ( wow, it's Czech ! ) in lobby area, service minded staff at reception. Negative: location ( 15 minutes walk from old city center ), breakfast tables not cleaned permanently, too expensive for quality provided - doesn't match price/quality balance. If not on business purpose or staying only for short overnight ride - try somewhere else.

Nice to visit Hradetc Kralove to see an amaizing music festival. Me and bunch of other firends stayed in this hotel for 2 days. Surroundings average but hotel very nice and clean, staff friendly, breakfast OK and beer at Lobby tasted really good. WiFi for free (not usual in this country - do not understand why) nice too. Parking for our van near hotel free. I´m bloody sure to make a booking for next year in this hotel again because of cleaness, friendly people and especially the price!

In June I was back in Hradec Kralove because of some business issues to solve. I decided for hotel Alessandria again because I was fully satisfied during my previous visitation. All members of the staff were very friendly and receptionist even remembered my name and gave me the same room! I was very surprised because it is not usual attitude - very nice! Room was clean and silent. WiFi connection OK, Breakfast rich and tasty. I also appreciate the late check-out for free! This hotel is really great choice for all who look for modern, silent and clean hotel with firendly staff and nice atmosphere!

my experience in this hotel was really bad, the personnel is unfriendly, the hotel is far from eveerything. i quarreled with the women at breakfast: the breakfast was supposed to be until 10 but at 9:45 i arrived in the breakfast room and everything ewas gone and no one was saupplying new food for the guests. the general atmosphere was bad.
