"Perfrct for a night in Pisa"

4.0

Perfect for a night in Pisa at a more than reasonable price.Easy walk to the tower and finding great places to eat and drink nearby. You only need one night in Pisa and this is the cheap and cheerful place to have it. Although the staff werent that cheerful but did their job effciently .

"Decent budget stay"

6.0

We picked this hotel because of price and location. The location worked great for us, being within walking distance to the Piazza dei Miracoli (roughly 5mins) and the train station (15 mins). The staff were helpful and very security conscience. The room was a little sparse and the bed was quite hard however it was clean and roomy.

"IT was a good 2** hotel and nothing more."

It was pretty good as long as you bear in mind the coat and the 2** rating.

"Great location, reliable budget hotel"

8.0

We stay in Cecile a lot. it is perfectly located for the great bars and restaurants in Pisa. There is a car park which costs 10 euros a night which is great for the centre of Pisa. The reception staff are OK, only one speaks a little English, but they are helpful and staying there is good value and easy. The only real negative is the heat in the summer, no air conditioning which we don't mind, but the ceiling fans are very noisy. The location is very central so if you have the windows open it can be noisy. We've had a few bad nights at Cecile, but lots of great nights. We love Pisa and always try to take a night in the centre before a flight home. The rooms are basic but functional, location is the important feature for us.

"They lost my reservation. Had to find new hotel. "

2.0

He didn't speak English. He lost my reservation. Said I never made one. So I left dragging my luggage around aimlessly trying to find a other hotel. Then few days later find out they still charged my card. Great.

"Good location terrible hotel"

2.0

Very old, no one spoke English, hard beds, noisy outside, cold and thin blankets. But it was clean and cheap, guess it depends what you expect:)

"A night in Pisa"

6.0

We were only in Pisa for one night. Our room was acceptable for such a short stay. We were on the street side so it was fairly noisy.

"cheap but gross"

4.0

I stayed here one night...literally a stopover before going elsewhere. Its really cheap and very close to the leaning tower and center. I had only 8 or 9 hours in the hotel and that was all i could take. Our room actually had mosquitos living there. I wanted a cheap place as i was only going to be there from 11 pm to 7 am. Thats what i got. The old man working there was pleasant.

"Antique hotel 50 meters from the tower"

6.0

Even though we've been to Pisa many times, it's still moving to turn the corner and see the tower and duomo. Pisa has one of the best presentations for their duomo, baptistry and bell tower. Set in a spacious Campo Santo, it provides room to stand back and ponder the ages. This antique hotel is right in the middle of the old town. It's close to the train station. We had all of Tuscany and more at our fingertips. We highly recommend Giorgio's Pizzeria just off Borgo Stretto. Super friendly staff and some of the best pizza in the world!
