Fantastic hotel. Wonderful service. Great location. Had a perfect stay in Zadar

Can't beat the location - in the old town and a short walk to everything. And yet, the hotel itself was quiet and well organized. The staff helpfulness with managing my car was a strong plus too But The jewel is the restaurant Kastel. Which was the finest meal I had in seven nights in Croatia.

Overall, location was good. Staff were polite. Only issue we encountered was that the air conditioning did not work. We brought this to the attention of the staff multiple times and they did not offer a solution. I feel Hotel should not advertise air conditioning if there is none. Additionally water was supposed to be drinkable from tap however it was cloudy with sediment. We understand that the hotel itself is over 100 years old so pipe corrosion may have caused this.

The rooms are spacious with everything you need, and the breakfast is wonderful. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful.

We decided to make a stop in Zadar when planning our trip, and knew little about the town or the hotel. What a lovely and pleasant surprise! We really loved the hotel, as the rooms were very nice, the terrace for wine and beer was lovely, and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. They sent us very clear directions for arrival by car, which was really helpful as they are right on the edge of the pedestrian only district. We drove in and were approached by one of the staff within about 10 seconds to welcome us. He also parked the car and took care of our luggage, as it was too early to check in. We wished we had more time there, as we enjoyed staying in the hotel walking the old town, the glass museum, archeology museum, and the great gelato. We’d go back!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect and very easy to walk to the old town and the pier. The rooms are kept clean. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. Many thanks to Ms. Marina, Mr. Kiki, Damir and David. They made sure we had all we need and made our stay very comfortable. We will come back again.

Wet friendly staff and nice breakfast. The room was very nice as well.
