Ábel Pension Budapest

I felt the hostess was awesome very helpful the place was old and bedspread could be updated it was off the beaten path in Pest University District the room I had was #2 and the main entry room was near my door entrance. You could hear cars on this street because traffic would cut through also the main street Szuret Utca tram was down construction and a replacement bus dropped a bit far off from location at night having to carry my luggage from the main tram area,was a bit of a struggle for me so travel light. People were kind at breakfast. Not sure what other rooms looked like if you don't want to stay in Buda with all the noise this place will be better and very green etc. I would advise not to take room #2 only if you cannot go up stairs otherwise if you are sound sensitive not a good choice off the main entrance dinning area the kept room clean and bed made nice people working here.

Dit pension ligt in Buda in een stille eenrichtingsstraat met veel bomen en heeft een heerlijke groene tuin met bomen. Er staan stoelen om in de tuin te kunnen zitten. Het personeel is vriendelijk en spreekt Engels. Gellertbad ligt 4 tramhaltes verwijderd. Er zijn goede restaurants en winkels op loopafstand. Onze kamer had helaas geen hor voor het raam, en de airco was niet zelf aan te zetten - deze werd af en toe centraal aangezet.

Meget hyggeligt med lidt 70'er stemning på loftvætelset med stuebirk. Abel er hyggeligt, venligt personale og nemt at komme til. De har en sød sort kat! Sengene kunne dog være bedre. Men der var RENT!

We stayed at the abel pension for 4 days.Although the first impression wasn't so good,due to the fact we arrived late night,the host was very friendly and familiar.I think he really looks like an ancient Greek philosopher,a very calm personality.There was no tv in the room but i think this at the end was an advantage.The room was not luxury but very clean,warm and the stuff was so friendly.Nice breakfast,free wifi,amazing and quiet location.Really great value for money!!!We would stay there again for sure!!!

Excellent value for money. Very friendly english speaking staff. Nice family atmosphere. As a frequent Budapest traveller since 1989, this is a hidden Budapest gem! Highly recommended.

Hotel åbel levde opp til forventningene.gammelt og fylt av atmosfære. Kort vei til gellert spa og rett ved Sigmund Moritz.knutepunkt for trikk og metro er du ikke langt fra noe i Budapest. Buda siden er den rolige delen med vakre gater.små cafeer samt allé kjøpesenter, tre etg like ved.sengen var litt hard.frokost kun brød og pålegg, men du får hvertfall et pensjonat med sjel på kjøpet.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff especially Dora were delightful and most helpful. The room was comfortable and the breakfast although unremarkable was all we needed to start the day. Conveniently situated in a quiet street 2 min from the 61 tram we could be in downtown Budapest in 15 mins. Beautiful city with fabulous vantage points to enjoy the views. The transport system is superb and very easy to negotiate with announcements in English as well as Hungarian. I would recommend a visit to Budapest and if you want a budget hotel the Abel Pension is difficult to beat.

Oltiin kavereiden kans tultu pitkä matka Montenegrosta Budapestiin. Saavuimme perille keskellä yötä, meidät otti vastaan todella ystävällinen vanha herrasmies. Huone oli tosi viihtyisä ja iso. Parvekkeella oli mukava viettää aurinkoista päivää, hotelli sijaitsee hiljaisessa 1910-luvulla rakennetussa pienkerrostalolähiössä.

Ett fantastiskt ställe i en gammal pietetsfullt renoverad villa från början på 1900-talet. God frukost på morgonen vid dukat bord och mycket familjekänsla

별로 였음. 더운 여름 한 밤에 에어컨을 틀 수 없게 해 뒤척이며 자야 했고 아이는 새벽에 더위에 깨기도 했음. 대중 교통 이용에도 편리하지 않음. 다만 직원들은 친절한 편이었음.
