Hotel San Marco

Location and nice rooms

Ladies at check-out and breakfast were very rude, before that we actually had a very good impression of the hotel but after that we won’t come back! Definitely avoid the bar and restaurant, just had drinks but it they just try to rip you off (worst quality products).

The location is brilliant, just at the old port. We had a very pleasant, very large room that was well appointed. Large and comfortable bathroom. We had great views in two directions - over the lake, as well as to the mountains. Buffet breakfast was also more than adequate. The restaurant is good and is open all day.

No fridge, leaky paper cups instead of glasses. No shampoo.

Location is perfect. The main reason we rate our visit as excellent was that we (by chance) ended up in room 42 which had a large roof terrace with a fantastic panorama of the lake, harbour and town

Staff could have been more helpful at times, reception is always in a mess

No tea making facility in my room and they refused to supply any, The telephone didnt work so for reception I had to go downstairs for anything I wanted. No refrigerator in my room. Had to ask for shower toiletries to be replaced. These are things I have been used to for years now
