Quinta Das Murtas B&B

Se siente como estar en una película. Todo en perfecto estado y en un lugar increíble rodeado de bosque. Si estás en auto y tu plan es conocer el Palacio de Peña, el castillo de mouros y la quinta de regaleira recomiendo dejar el auto en el parking de la quinta y conseguir transporte desde el alojamiento.

Op loopafstand van het oude centrum en privé parkeerplaats achter het hotel.

Weinig stopcontacten om een telefoon op te laden. Voor gebruik van de waterkoker moest eerst de koelkast uit het stopcontact.

Úžasná lokalita kousek od centra, přitom obklopena spoustou zeleně, milý a profesionální personál, skvělé snídaně.

The location is very good. You can walk within 10 minutes to the centre and there it is very easy to get on the bus or train to visit for example one of the castles. The room was very good and clean aswell.

Please be aware that it can be noisy because of the thin walls. The location is very good but there are a lot of stairs:-).

It's not that I didn't like it but breakfast was very basic, I mean very basic, we had to book our time slot for the next day even though we didn't know what time we would wake up, we were under pressure to go for breakfast at a specific time. The swimming pool in the pictures was not in use until that season. It was one reason we booked this place; it would be great if it were described in the description. The receptionist was coldish… he wasn't rude or anything, but he gave very short answers to our questions. Again - he was not bad just didn't feel very welcoming. It is a nice spot but with kids, there is not much to do. The nearest place to go out and eat was 10 min walk, don't get me wrong it was not a problem as such but really there is nothing much around. One bed was very high, so my child was afraid of falling out at night. The TV sound was not working, I asked the receptionist what the problem was, but he never offered to pop in and fix it. Even to help with settings on the TV or satellite. I just felt like a burden. Would I stay again - for the comfort of the bed and cleansines - yes, for the location and breakfast and welcome - no.

Great location 10-15 mins walk to historic centre or train station. Nice quiet location. Staff very friendly and helpful. It is an old building and a little tired in parts but we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was very good although you had to advise of a time the night before. Grounds looked nice to have a relax in but unfortunately weather was not great and pool not open.

Standard room in main building was a bit small with limited storage for a weeks stay. On second floor and no lift but was aware of the lack of lift prior to booking.

Muy buena ubicación a 500mts del centro histórico de Sintra. El recepcionista muy amable y educado. Hablaba perfecta en español y fue muy gentil dando consejos e indicaciones. La opción de poder dejar el coche en el Hotel despues del check-out es de lo mejor, ya que puedes entrar luego de visitar Sintra y no tener que pagar por estacionarlo fuera.

Todo fue de nuestro agrado.
