Seehotel Litz

We had an awful experience at this hotel - try and avoid our mistake! The hotel is not staffed - which would be ok except we had a problem with a defective toilet (overflowing / running / odorous and not cleaned bathroom). Despite trying to contact the hotel numerous ways we had no response until the following day after we had checked out. The manager advised us laughingly that ‘we had paid too much’ and said there was nothing he could do about the issue, despite us having to use a public toilet across the road with two small children. Additionally the rooms are dated, dirty, very small and uncomfortable (we had one chair for four people in a two bedroom apartment) for the price.

Nothing to like - although the town it’s in is lovely there are many other hotels here.

We had numerous issues the worst of which was that our toilet did not work. It constantly flowed and had clearly overflown and not been properly cleaned. There was an awful sewage smell throughout. Naturally we tried to contact staff about this but there are no staff available at the hotel (remote check in only), the desk was never serviced and there was no way to contact them by phone. We tried via the booking app but had no response. As such we had no toilet and a disgusting smell for our stay. The rest of the room was also unacceptable - one chair for four people, stained walls where insects had been killed and left, open exposed pipes and the children’s bunk bed ladder was broken and dangerous. The bathroom was also unclean - leaking water no cleaned, dirty basin and mirror etc. There was no secure / covered bike storage which for a major bike route is an oversight.

Das Frühstück entspricht nicht einen 4 Sterne Hotel. Es war 0815 ,Das Frühstückspersonal hat sich viel Mühe gegeben.Für den Preis mehr erwartet,Duschkabiene ,Eingang sehr eng ,obwohl wir kein Übergewicht haben, ach
