Hornsbury Mill

Lovely place to stay, really peaceful and the peacocks add to the relaxed ambiance the place exudes. A very nice place to return to after a hard days work. Friendly and attentive staff are never far away.

It was a short stay but would certainly recommend the hotel, all the staff were so friendly.

nice location good for visiting national trust properties

This a lovely hotel. We were made to feel welcome from the beginning. The room was comfortable, the food was very good and the staff always were friendly without being too intrusive. The setting is gorgeous, we were only there for 2 nights while we were visiting family but are looking forward to going back and spending longer there to explore more.

I loved this hotel. I arrived in the dark so could not see the hotel's surroundings until the morning. Even in the winter the gardens were beautiful with ducks and peacocks wandering around. The room was very spacious and tastefully decorated with a very nice bathroom. The evening meal was very well cooked and the breakfast was also good with a wide range to choose from. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room lovely as was upgraded did not see what the room was like we had booked. Breakfast too early for us when on holiday good but not great. Very quiet restaurant fairly empty for evening meal although midweek. Staff especially reception very good. Had to drive most places.

Water mill with stream and lake in garden. A lovely place.
