Tenuta Santo Pietro

This place is so peaceful and the room was immaculate. It was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband. Breakfast was included with our rate. It is a continental breakfast with a few offerings…think croissants, some fruit, cereal, salad, and some cured meat. It is just a 5 minute drive to Pienza which is the cutest little city overlooking Val D’Orcia. During your stay, you have to have lunch or dinner there at least once. The food was so fresh and delicious.

This place was truly amazing. It was spacious and beautiful, and the exterior of the accommodation was absolutely charming. We also had dinner here, and the food was incredibly delicious — not to mention, the portions were by far the most generous we had during our entire month-long trip. I highly recommend this place. Above all, the host lady was incredibly kind. During our stay, my wife injured her ankle. The host showed genuine concern, called the hospital to find out what we needed to do, and even contacted an ambulance for us. (In the end, we didn’t go because the hospital was too busy.) She then kept giving us ice and helped us treat the injury. We are deeply grateful — thank you once again for everything.

Fantastic place and staff

A magical retreat in the heart of Tuscany. Our stay was nothing short of enchanting. The hotel, set in a beautifully preserved 13th-century building, is full of charm and serenity. The peaceful garden invites you to linger, and the views over Pienza from the pool are simply stunning. Yet what truly sets this place apart is the warmth and grace of the staff — a team of remarkable women whose kindness makes you feel instantly at home, surrounded by genuine care and affection. Bertina’s radiant energy and joy are wonderfully uplifting, and Marilena’s cooking is a heartfelt experience in itself — nourishing in every sense. As she so beautifully puts it: “Cucinare è donare, mangiare è amare” — “To cook is to give, to eat is to love.” This is not just a place to stay — it is a place to feel, to savour, and to remember.

Cozy space and friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful property with lots of places to sit down and enjoy the views.

The restaurant has great food. The staff is nice.

Close to the street, noisy. Breakfast poor and rooms not up to the standard for 4* hotel.

Breakfast was okay. Pricy, but that goes with Pienza.
