Hotel Daniela

Price for this hotel is cheap, but for low price you will also get very low comfort. King size bed was actually some folding bed totally uncomfortable to sleep on, other guests ware very loud but the hotel staff hasn't intervened. Parking space is very small, but luckily you can park on the street in front of the hotel, air conditioning wasn't working... Overall you will not spend much, but in the morning when you will be all bitten from mosquitoes bites you will be sorry that you didn't chose something else.

As a family of four we booked two rooms for a four night stay at the Hotel Daniela in Ferrara. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, and about a 20-25 minute walk from the centre of the town. The staff were extremely obliging and very helpful. We had continental breakfast (included in the price) at the café next door, which was both very convenient and very good value. Overall, the hotel suited our needs very well indeed, and I would certainly recommend it to other travellers.

Hotel Daniela is a budget hotel. The staff is very helpful, in particular I want to say thanks to Greta, Barbara and the gentleman who works as a night porter. Have to catch bus no. 7 to the last stop and walk (short distance) to the hotel. The bus does not operate on Sunday. Breakfast is provided by adjacent restaurant with limited choice.

The hotel staff were very helpful and helped make the stay enjoyable. The hotel is located some distance from town - about E 14 taxi ride. A number 7 bus however will take you from near the hotel to the main street - right by the castle for ED 1.50 each way. Rooms facing the road will have traffic noise but ear plugs seemed to work for us.

We stayed 6 nights for the conference. Rooms have view at the quite busy street or at the Po canal and chemical plant (our case) in the far horizon, which was our case. City center is about 6 km far, so we commuted using our car. Breakfast in the bar in the same building were fine but not big. Room was clean and daily room service perfect. Minority of staff speaks English, including staff in the bar, so basic knowledge of Italien language is really big advantage.:-)
