"Eine tolle Unterkunft. Der Fußmarsch in den Ort dauert ca 10 Minuten."

Reichhaltiges FrĂŒhstĂŒck in tollem Ambiente. John, der Gastgeber, ist ein gebildeter und angenehmer GesprĂ€chspartner. Wir haben uns abends an der Bar ĂŒber alles mögliche unterhalten. Das war einfach schön.

La chambre était agréable et joliment décorée, calme, nous avons bien dormi. Nous avons été reçus avec gentillesse et la région est magnifique. C'est le principal.

... Mais beaucoup de rafraichissements seraient Ă  prĂ©voir, selon moi, pour profiter rĂ©ellement du jardin, de la maison, du bar et du petit dĂ©jeuner. Le petit dĂ©jeuner, par exemple, Ă©tait dĂ©cevant. Peut-ĂȘtre sommes nous venus Ă  une pĂ©riode peu propice (mi aout 2025) car, contrairement Ă  ce que j'avais compris il n'y avait pas de restauration le soir et le petit dĂ©jeuner n'Ă©tait pas Ă  la hauteur des descriptions existantes dans les prĂ©cĂ©dents commentaires. On touche ici les limites, donc, des commentaires !!

What a delightful stay in a well styled Manor. All the rooms are tastefully appointed & in keeping with the era which gives a warm homely feeling to your stay. Delightful staff eager to help, made our stay even more homely. The showers are difficult to use & perhaps a queen bed to replace the double size would be our only positive criticism. Despite these small criticisms the stay was just delightful.

Breakfast great & waiting staff were lovely.

When we arrived at check in time the room wasn’t ready, we were told that it wouldn’t be ready for at least another hour & half & we just had to go away & come back.
