Rhino Post Safari Lodge

The hotel kitchen staff were absolutely incredible. So friendly and able to meet everybody's dietary requirements. The camp staff as a whole were so helpful No praise is high enough for them. Location is excellent.

For the cost I think having 8 people in a safari vehicle means not everyone gets a window seat. That is not a premium experience compared to other similarly priced lodges..In fact if you have a safari from the Kruger Gate Lodge (which is half the price )you also get 8 people or less in a vehicle. The amount of sightings are the same ,expect with fewer vehicles at Rhino Post .

La posizione era fantastica, in un'area del Kruger piena di animali. La struttura si affaccia sul letto di un fiume in cui durante il giorno vengono ad abbeverarsi elefanti e altri animali. Tutto è estremamente integrato con la natura, struttura e arredi sono tutti in legno, bambu', pelle e tessuto (niente plastica!). I safari (ogni giorno ce n'è uno la mattina e uno la sera) sono incredibili e ricchi di animali di tantissime specie. Il cibo è veramente ottimo, sia a colazione che durante i pasti.

Guide Fabian was an absolute delight. Very knowledgeable and great at finding interesting things to see! Food was delicious and plentiful. We were never hungry! Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Our first day (late arrival) felt a little bit rushed. Especially dinner was extremely short.

We stayed at this lodge for our very first safari experience, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The entire staff and especially the guides were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The tents are beautifully set up and very comfortable. We were initially curious about the lack of air conditioning, but it turned out not to be an issue at all: the ceiling fan keeps things pleasant during the day, and the nights are cool and refreshing. A special mention goes to the chef — the dinners were outstanding, easily comparable to fine dining restaurants we’ve visited elsewhere. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to safari life. Highly recommended!

Wszystko. Brak ogrodzeń, zwierzęta które przemykają po ośrodku są super atrakcją. Pyszne jedzenie. Super domki, które zapewniają prywatność i super widok. Wanna i prysznic pod gołym niebem.

Good private reserve within the Kruger national Park. Only 16 guests so you get a lot of personal attention and two game drives per day. The guides are knowledgeable and connected by radio so sightings are shared.

The concession area is shared with Rhino walking safaris. This means the game drives don't go to the walking area, effectively halving the private area. This results in drives ending up mainly on the public Kruger park roads that have quite a bit of traffic (especially at good sightings) I would expect to get more drinks included in the relatively high rates. Most similar establishments give you at least dinner wine included. Rhino post only includes drinks at the evening drive stop.

Lodge,half tent . Waar de olifanten en hyena’s en giraffen langs lopen . Ongelofelijke ervaring als je zit te lunchen en er komen opeens een kudde olifanten aan. Ochtend en avond drive zitten er bij. In het donker wordt je begeleid naar je lodge door een ranger . Wij hoorde ‘s nachts een olifant voorbij lopend en het gehuil van hyena’s . De douche is buiten.
