Hotel Soho - Renovated 2026

Hotel Soho, located in the heart of Tartu, is a place with the friendliest staff. The rooms are clean, beautiful, well-thought-out and unique. The new relaxation area is like nothing you've seen before. The historic building has a unique atmosphere that you can feel at every step. The rooms have works by Estonian artists on the walls, which further adds to the feeling that you are important to the hotel.

We were very happy with our stay in the very comfortable, quiet Hotel Soho. The location is excellent, steps away from Tartu's central square, many restaurants, cafes, and bars and short distances from most of Tartu's main attractions. Hotel Soho's staff was friendly, patient, helpful, and accommodating. Our room was clean and large. Breakfast was the best we'd had in the Nordic countries and elsewhere in Estonia. With make-your-own fresh batter waffles, sparking wine, and beer how can that be debated? We already recommended the hotel to friends who plan to visit Tartu

The design feels stuck in the 70s – all red-on-red décor, older than me. The beds gave me back pain, the furniture is worn out, and the parking situation is a disaster (you need to pre-book before arrival). At night it’s very noisy, more like a party hotel. Definitely not ideal for business guests.
