"Great B&B"

10.0

This was a lovely B&B and had a full-service restaurant, which we wished we could have tried for dinner. The location is a short drive to other attractions. Very quiet, peaceful, clean location. The staff is friendly and helpful. We would go back again.

"Exceptional"

10.0

Get past the blue carpet and you'll discover a lovely home away from home. Brian and Bea are the perfect hosts, kind, attentive and a wealth of information about the area. I had wonderful breakfasts and dinners in their restaurant and it felt so decadent after weeks as a budget traveler to have a DVD player in my room. I will definitely stay at The Old Anchor Inn again when I'm in the area.

"Home town of arctic explorer Tom Crean!"

8.0

We were on a tight schedule and had to leave before breakfast, but our host offered to get up early to cook us breakfast. This was very much appreciated!

"Great service"

10.0

The Old Anchor has terrific service. The people who run it are sincerely friendly and are good at what they do. They offered good suggestions of nearby sights. The location is a good distance from Dingle, however, so I recommend that those staying there have a rental car. There are some restaurants & pubs within walking distance, however. The room was small for a double twin, but it was clean & comfortable and the place has a nice vibe.

"Fantastic service beyond the call of duty"

8.0

We had time management problems after just starting our journey around Ireland and didn't get to Brian's until 8.30pm. He had closed his kitchen but cooked us a great dinner and even found us accommodation at our next stop in Galway. Beautiful little village between the coasts. He is a great cook and made the best coffee I have has on this trip.

"Lovely old fashioned B&B."

8.0

Sunny friendly room. Very clean and comfortable. Not swish and modern but all the more attractive for it. Location is quiet (which I wanted) but very close to Dingle. Staff are lovely and the breakfast was great. Will go back.

"Dingle Peninsula starting point"

10.0

It's a little outside of Dingle town, but close enough so that we could browse around town, see all of the peninsula, and then comfortably relax in an uncrowded setting.
