Truly, this was a peaceful stay in a peaceful city. The hotel is in the heart of the historic district and there are museums and restaurants steps away. Bear in mind that many museums are closed on Mondays and numerous restaurants are closed Monday and Tuesday each week. That'll help you with scheduling when to visit. I stayed in Room 103 with a nice view of the University main entrance. The bathroom is especially notable as it ran the entire length of the room and has its own large window. Double windows do a great job of keeping the sounds of modern life out. For those of you who prefer fresh air like me, yes, the windows open. If you are seriously sound-phobic you will want to bear in mind that the street in front of the hotel is traversed by motorcyclists and modified exhaust system vehicles in the evenings when the weather is nice. This is the same as in any city of any size, especially post-Covid. For my three nights, the vast majority of street noise ended by 10pm and I (who am indeed sensitive to sound) slept each night without difficulty and without earplugs.

Da das Hotel nicht ausgebucht war, bekam ich ein fantastisches Upgrade, das Frühstück war erstklassig, neben dem Buffet gab es frisch zubereitete Speisen, ebenso erstklassig war das Hotelrestaurant und die Rezeption immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuverlässig.

Very nice room, good breakfast, great location, 24/7 bar for a late night cap.

Good breakfast otherwise, but coffee is from a machine and it is a bottleneck.
