Wonderful hospitality, excellent service, great breakfast, 3 minutes walk to town centre street. Quiet area, recommended and would love to stay here again next time!

Me and my wife absolutely loved our stay at the corner house. Having finished our 3 weeks across SA this was our favourite place of our trip! Breakfast was just what we needed after long days drinking the Franschhoek wine :-). We were treated to an upgrade and the room and bathroom were spotless and bed was very comfortable.

Beautiful spot with great location in Franschoek. Staff are helpful and friendly. My room was quite small. Had to move the bed to shut the door. Not sure if all the rooms are of similar size.

An excellent and very welcoming place to stay within easy walking distance of everything that Franschhoek has to offer. Superb breakfasts and very helpful host/staff. Good value and highly recommended, although you need to book well in advance.

Wonderful from beginning to end! Very nice room and bath with complimentary items included. Wonderful full breakfast with options for all appetites. Management and staff are very capable and at your beck and call. Price very affordable and locale safe and close to eating and wine tram.

A charming, friendly guesthouse close to the main street with stylish rooms with comfortable beds , a log fire which we lit and electric blankets.We were there in the winter but the gardens would be beautiful in the height of summer with a small pool to enjoy. Breakfast was a selection of healthy options , with a cooked breakfast and a good pot of coffee. Would recommend price wise and for the hospitality ,hope to be back soon.

2 night stay here after a mini trip around SA. We had a little trouble getting into the property (apparently the bell to the side gate was not working) which wouldn’t have been a problem but the heavens decided to open at that point & we were a little damp when we finally got inside! The Corner House itself is lovely & looks recently refurbished. We were in room one which opened directly onto the veranda, again the rain spoilt our ability to use this but it would be beautiful in the summer. The bed was large & comfortable with gorgeous, soft Cotten sheets (there is also an electric blanket for when it’s chilly) & the bathroom was clean & shower powerful (still water restricted so short showers recommended). Breakfast was included & the selection was large for a small place & all home made, from Bircher muesli & muffins to eggs & bacon. Service was with a smile & staff were friendly and approachable. Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Within walking distance of town and the wine tram, it is very conveniently located. Michaela is a perfect hostess, and the breakfast was great.
