Hotel Leopolis

We stayed at Leopolis in February. It was incredible! Service, rooms, food - everything 5/5. We particularly liked spa and personal touch of the staff (history of hotel; little chocolates; helpful tourist info). thank you for having us! We will come again in April:)

Visited last October - somewhat delayed review but better late than never! Proximity to places of interest, excellent breakfasts, pleasant rooms of a good size made for a super stay. Hotel staff v helpful. Highly recommended!

One of the best hotels I've stayed, just like a very good hotel in Europe. The hotel is located in the Old City, close to everything. Very good breakfast. The rooms are clean and big .The staff are very nice and helpful and most importantly English speaking. Highly recommend

This was a fantastic hotel. I must really highlight the spa as the very best part. I had a massage by spa manager Vasyl Vasylyshyn and it was wonderful - he knew just how to work out the kinks and also had a conversation with me regarding how to keep stress levels low and bring some of the positive benefits of massage with me back home. He is both gentle and firm and has a calming personality; the service was top notch and a great value, particularly compared with American prices. I felt completely relaxed and limber afterwards. The spa facilities themselves are very scenic (they are housed in an old wine cellar) and I would recommend allotting at least a few hours for enjoying the sauna, hot tub, gym, and quiet room. They even provide disposable bathing suits, in the event you have forgotten yours. A massage with Vasyl and spa visit are MUSTS when in Lviv...and are reasons enough to visit Lviv in the first place! Enjoy!

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent staff, facilities and services set in a restored 19th century building just off Rynok Square, the centre of the old town of this wonderful city. Having just had a family holiday with young children, we cannot speak highly enough of Lviv. Its rich Hapsburg heritage and architecture are attractions in themselves, but its what Lvivans have done with their city that makes it so much more than a city break. Excellent restaurants of all cuisines and budgets, music bars and elegant cafes, street musicians and performers, quirky and fun museums such as the chocolate factory and coffee cellar, medieval underground taverns (straight out of Lord of the Rings), dungeon and roof top tours, and a working tram system, all set amidst a plethora of majestic churches and monasteries of all denominations. Lviv may be relatively unknown - for now - but not for long.

Such a wonderful hotel with .great ambiance. Breakfast included which was absolutely delicious. Dinner was excellent. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Will definitely go back. Hotel is in a great location. In downtown Lviv Well wonderful restaurants and historic sites.

Lviv is just a brilliant city, isn't it? So vibrant and welcoming and gorgeous. The Leopolis Hotel gave me a great first impression of the city, as my husband and I were greeted with sparkling wine from Odessa and a quick tour of the historic hotel, including the gym, spa, lounge, and restaurant. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating, and our room itself was beautiful - huge and comfortable. Our window faced the courtyard, which meant we didn't have an amazing view, but it was quiet, which was appreciated! We ate in the restaurant, which was good; we sat in the lounge and read books for a while, which was also really pleasant. But mostly, we found this hotel was a wonderful base for exploring the city, given its proximity to both Rynok Square and the Opera House.
