The location was excellent - close to town, but still very quiet. Upon arrival there were vervet monkeys in the trees of the hotel grounds. Our room also came fully equipped, and was right by the pool which was useful for the hot weather of St Lucia. Madeleine (our host) was also really helpful in providing sugguestions of things to do around St Lucia. The shower was brilliant as well!

For about a day we had a blackout (this was an area-wide issue, and not specific to our accomodation), which affected our air conditioning (the property does have backup power for lights though). While certainly good enough, the facilities weren't spectacular (e.g. knives weren't super sharp). It would also be helpful to determine when housekeeping/cleaning of the room takes place, as we had to rush our lunch to make it to a tour.
