The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. One of them, noting our interest in the building and its history, took the trouble to point out historic documents on display. We had a very interesting discussion about the Indian sauces that came me starter too.

There was only one small problem, and that was dealt with quickly and with apologies - a dish of garlic mushrooms was cold, but the staff were efficiency itself in rectifying it and making sure it was re-served to our satisfaction. Small mistakes can happen in any establishment - the important thing is how it's dealt with, and we were more than happy with that.
