Shard Riverside

Lovely property, nice staff and excellent breakfast.

We came back early than usual to use restaurant, we were 10 minutes earlier than what we had been told the restaurant was open until but unfortunately we were told we were too late which meant we had to order another taxi to take us to the nearest restaurant to eat. We were really disappointed as the restaurant looked lovely and breakfast the following morning was excellent.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced, and the included breakfast was perfect for starting the day.

Breakfast was ok , not a great deal of choice but all ok ,views are amazing and the room was good ,

Room lamp didn’t work and pillow was very lumpy, could have asked them to be changed but couldn’t be bothered,overall a good nights sleep

Staff were polite and courteous, room was clean spacious and very comfortable with a fantastic river view. Breakfast was freshly prepared and promptly served by friendly and helpful staff All in all an excellent stay
