Hoyran Wedre Country Houses

This place was absolutely perfect and they were such amazing hosts! We travelled on our honeymoon for a month and this was the best! The breakfast with 12 jams, the locally made produce and food, everything was perfect.

wir haben im Hoyran Wedre mit 2 Paaren 2 Zimmer für eine Übernachtung auf einer Rundtour gebucht. Das Hotel hat eine außergewöhnliche Lage am Rande eines kleinen Dorfes. Das Abendessen wurde für uns und ein weiteres Paar quasi als Familienessen zubereitet, das heisst auch, man muss mögen was kommt. Die Qualität war hervorragend. Das Hotelgelände ist wunderschön angelegt und sehr ruhig. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und gut ausgestattet. Auch beim Frühstück wurden unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Einige kleinere Mängel fielen auf, heißes Wasser in einem Zimmer funktionierte nur morgens, WLAN ging irgendwie nicht richtig, das hat uns allerdings nicht gestört. Die Athmosphäre war sehr persönlich, der Hausherr spricht gutes Deutsch. Zusammenfassend fühlten wir uns eher bei einem Besuch bei Freunden als im Hotel. Der am Ende aufgerufene Gesamtpreis war in Relation zu den zuvor gebuchten Hotels recht hoch, aber aus unserer Sicht noch angemessen.

I would exhaust my range of superlatives were I to try to fully convey just how wonderful this place is. Whilst there may be plenty to do in the local area, for us staying at this charming property was one of the highlights of our tour of the turquoise coast.The room is cosy, spacious, ornate and the grounds are rich with natural and architectural features that demand a longer stay than we had time for. The level of service and the standard of food is of equal merit though. If you stay here, eat here. We were treated to private dining in one of the many gorgeous secluded areas that the property possesses. The food was above average Turkish and Mediterranean fodder that any restaurant on the Amalfi coast would have been proud to call its own. Breakfast is of a similar standard and makes a refreshing change from the standard buffet breakfasts served in most hotels. Produce is home grown and the owners are rightly proud. We can't wait to go back next year.

Found the hotel via hotels.com - it's a little gem. Hidden away in the hills behind the coast, it's a great base from which to explore the local area - and then come back and relax in the evening sun by the pool. The food is amazing - who would want to go out (even if there was somewhere to go!)

The hotel is located 20 km from anything you might want to do or need down a village road . There is no where to eat dinner except the hotel dinner which was only so-so, and the rooms are strangly decorated with cheap "antiques" and not comfortable. Nor was there hot water for showers.

Hoyren Wedre is a very special and beautiful small inn in the countryside. The owners took very good care of us and took us on a personalized hike to see the local Lycian ruins adjacent to their land. The food was absolutely delicious, and they were able to prepare gluten-free food at our request. The gardens are blooming with colorful flowers, pungent herbs, and fruit trees. The infinity pool overlooked a Mediterranean vista. Although we felt like we were very far away from the hustle and bustle, we were actually just a short drive to tourist areas and attractions on the coast. It was a treasure to return after sightseeing to the peace of the traditional quiet villa inn.
