Angala Boutique Hotel

Everything was perfect and beautiful except there were quite a few cockroaches in the room and in between the dishes provided. Will still come back next time because it was such a comfortable place.

My wife and I stayed at the Angala during our honeymoon and couldn't have been happier with the level of service and comfort provided by the owner/operator family. They clearly have experience with and a deep understanding of high-quality lodging and know how to add all the little touches to make the experience special. Highly recommended.

A beautiful hotel located "off the beaten path", this hotel is ideal if you're looking for a quiet, removed holiday with easy access to wine estates and restaurants. The rooms are very private, comfortable and the hotel's facilities are beautifully conceived and in excellent condition.

I can highly recommend staying here. A beautiful and superbly comfortable room. A truly excellent breakfast - the dinner was also great the night we ate here. It is in a stunning location just a few miles from town. The host was extremely helpful with tips for vineyards, walks and restaurants. No complaints, we would love to go back!

We stayed only one night as had a wedding nearby the next night. When we arrived we were offered dinner and not expecting much, accepted. Max the chef was a genius, a light cheese tart followed by a duck breast to die for, lastly the creme brûlée was perfect. We crawled off to bed followed by one very feisty cat. Breakfast was late and spectacular, views over the mountains with clouds floating by. The buffet was terrific and the omelette was light and delicious. Aubrey, our host for the previous evening was the consummate host. A very memorable stay.
