"Great location, room needs extra care"

We found the location terrific, close to Obidos. The room was very basic and dated. Breakfast is very basic. Staff was friendly, spoke English and French.

"to view houses in the area"

4.0

town centre ok, it has no pubs but plenty of coffee outlets which suited until dinner time (6pm - 0pm). Restaurants not open on an evening. Hotel is a has got to be one of the worst places I have stop, but you pay for quality. Bus to Lisbon very cheap at 8 euro, Buses run every 15 to 30 minutes on the dot. GREAT PEOPLE.

"Good"

We got a cold room, uncomfortable beds, a bad bathroom - I won't recommend this "hotel" ever. But the hotel stuff did their best to improve our stay and our impression. Do not trust pictures and description in Expedia.

"resdidencial bem localizada."

Simpatia no atendimento mas instalações velhinhas e decoração fraca. Fiquei num quarto com vista para os telhados.

"convenient hotel"

6.0

I had 1 night of a planned trip unscheduled and selected this hotel (Residencial) to fill the gap. It is centrally located, clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful. There was road construction going on when I arrived, and I could not access the hotel in the most direct route, but was able to find another street leading to it after about 15 minutes. Being mindful that Portugal does not have the best road identification signage and many narrow oneway streets :-) Hotel was clean, which is very important to me.

"One of your better options in this town."

6.0

So these ratings are never quite fair for low--priced hotels. Here's a list of my pluses and minuses: Plus: Internet included Free (albeit tiny) breakfast Really great location Hotel staff tend to speak great English Minus: It was hard to find, as not many people speak English in this town. It is right across from the park. That's the key. The bus station is also hard to find, so try to get great directions to that in advance The room was smokey, tiny, and the hotel was very cold. A word about the town: This is interesting town to take pictures, etc. But I didn't get the "ceramics center" of Portugal. There's a lot of unemployment and the touristy attractions weren't set up well.

"Hotel In Caldas do Rainha Portugal"

2.0

This hotel was dirty and smelly and we stayed for only 20 minutes. The management admitted that it was not a 3 star hotel but a 3 star guest house (residence). The hotel management offered to move us to another hotel they owned outside the city which we accepted. However this turned out to be another guest house not a hotel in a very isolated location about 15 miles from the city which was not what we required. We stayed for two nights until we managed to secure another hotel which was again 3 star but very acceptable. We would suggest that you vet so called hotels before advertising them on your website.
