Torrs Warren Country House Hotel

BEWARE the wee room Bathroom is designed for 6 feet tall people with a hugh walk in shower BUT tiny hand basin on top of the toilet cistern. I am 5 feet talk and you cant reach the sink to wash even hands unless straddle the toilet bowl or kneel on the toilet lid or balance on one foot and have the other on the lid. Then beware the glass tray to hold the glasses, you head butt this, no matter what height you are. Perhaps the owner would like to try and wash in this sink, as its the type you would normally find in a cloakroom not a country house hotel. The designer obviously should have fitted a proper hand basin and reduced the size of the shower footprint to allow anyone to use the facilities comfortably. The rest of the room was fine in proportion to a wee room. Glad I am fit for my old age and thin !!

Excellent stay again! Second visit for us & as fabulous as the first time round! Very friendly people highly recommend.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. From the room to the surroundings to the breakfast to the staff. We stayed in the Royal Blue room, which was incredible. It was impeccably clean and the decor is beautiful. The only downfall is we didn’t stay longer, we will certainly be back. Thanks again.

Lovely stay with very friendly staff. We were in a family suite in the attic and at 6ft 4in I struggled a bit .

A great place to stay, friendly owners and staff, no evening meals and reduced bar hours due to Covid, but that may have changed. Comfortable, clean rooms with excellent wifi. Will definately return.

Lovely quiet place to stay, staff very friendly and helpful.

In general the stay was good,staff lovely,Breakfast excellent , evening menu a little limited for choice and a bit pricey but quality produce cooked well .Room was very small , the biggest issue was the sink that was situated BEHIND the toilet which made it extremely difficult to use , I had to kneel on the toilet to clean my teeth.

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough, had a slight problem with my booking but all was quickly and efficiently resolved by the staff. Ideal quiet location, excellent room, bed and breakfast. Well worth booking, we will certainly be back
