For a low budget, 2 star hotel, it was pretty much what you would expect. Except that the grumpy old man who sits in reception was so rude.

Very run down, TINY room, no lift, plastic sheets on bed, horrible basic breakfast

Awesome location close to the beach and tavernas, really friendly staff, room was cleaned every day, great value for money and a simple breakfast set up for B&B. A genuinely fabulous place to stay in Skala. We booked a garden view room but we’re given a sea view room at no extra charge. Thank you Captain’s for a wonderful stay.

We loved everything about the place.

Location was super!!!! We could see the sea from our balcony. There are a lot of tavernas and different cafes.

Opposite our balcony there was a Captain's bar, which worked till1 a.m.!!!! It was very noisy and we had to close all windows and tryed to fall asleep. A huge disadvantage was an absence of mosquitos nets on a windows!!!!!!! We were biten a lot and couldn't sleep!!!! Second disappointment and shock for us was usage of air- conditioner for extra CHARGE!!!!!!! ( 40 evro per week). Never saw such before in hotels!!!!!!!!!!

Captain's House is in a perfect location! On the main street, all amenities are close by, you can see and hear the sea etc. We stayed for 2 nights and were happy with everything: had a nice quiet sleep, the shower had hot water and megapressure, the breakfast was sufficient, all the workers superfriendly!
