I've stayed here many times. Staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Ideal location for Newmarket, Epsom, Remuera, Parnell and the CBD. Great free parking. Powerful WiFi. Large rooms.

Decor is dated. Facilities very limited. Not all TV channels actually work.

Extremely uncomfortable and not clean at all. Light outside on the deck shone in all night with no ability to block it out (no curtains etc)

The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The shower was really good. The property is older so there is the expected wear and tear. It boarders the train line and motorway but one of our party was not bothered by the noise and the other had earplugs. The trains are actually really quiet. The air con was great. We were able to walk to Eden park to see the event we went for.

There was no milk in the rooms at all so we purchased it at the front desk. It only opens at 9am so that could be too late for many.
