Fågelbro Säteri

Très jolie hôtel, nous avions la vu sur les pré des chevaux. Les chambres sont spacieuse et très bien décoré.

Fräscha rum, sköna sängar, goá täcken. Bra frukost! Deras spa är mysigt, rogivande och en uppvärmd pool som är en av mina favoriter i Sthlm-området. Ett stort plus på Fågelbro Säteri är att det finns så bra inomhusytor att vara på, olika rum och sittgrupper. Även när det inte går att vara utomhus så finns det gott om plats och ytor/rum i de allmänna delarna. Det är jättebra! Trivsam miljö.

Servicen vid middagen. Det var inte komplett dukat, då bara en av fyra hade brödtallrik. Vi fick bröd men inget smör, vilket andra bord hade. Upplevde att det var lite o-ordning och möjligen brist på personal eller styrning. Jag tror att vi hade tre olika personer som servade vårt bord och vi fick påkalla uppmärksamhet för att få middagen att rulla på. Vi fick vänta länge på notan, men de kompenserade det med avdrag utan att vi hade påpekat något - och det ska personalen ändå ha cred för.

Great hotel! Me my partner an son had great memories there. We have been there two times.

Omgivningen, mysigheten

We stayed at Fågelbro Säteri for one night in early December, with spa access and julbord. It was an extremely rainy weekend, so walking on the property was not possible, but it looked a really charming place. We had a dog and our dog-friendly room was lovely- clean, generous space both room and bathroom. Nice furniture, comfortable bed, well lit and a dog bed, treats and water bowl was provided. The TV in the room didn't work, but they did try to fix it. It wasn't a problem for us though. The spa was small with not enough lounge chairs for the number of people. There were two saunas, not very hot, and the outdoor pool was refreshing. The spa was a bit disappointing but maybe with less people, it would be okay. The hotel itself has a modern and old-worldly feel and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, despite a full house for the julbord. A good selection of cold and hot dishes were served with an Italian flavour. The candy room was also quite special with cakes, cheeses and sweets. The breakfast was excellent and we recommend the Värmdö apple must. There are bottles of this beverage for sale as well.

The julbord could be improved. We had an early seating and got the best selection of cold and hot dishes. However we did notice that when the large groups arrived, crockery ran out and dishes on the cold table were sparse. The hot food could have been exceptional with arancini, porchetta and sautéed duck with brussel sprouts but sadly these dishes were very dry. I think they were sitting too long and lost moisture. Once they could improve that, the buffet would be very good. If the hot breakfast was excellent, then I think they can improve those hot dishes on the buffet.
