The Rutland Hotel & Apartments

Best location, so close to all attractions! Beautifully decorated Georgian styled apartments, everything is lovely and comfortable! Quiet and private, house keeping is very nice! Staff are so helpful and responsive, Jill is the best! Maintenance staff are also wonderful to help with adjusting the heating system! This is the best apartment we have ever stayed for vacation!

Room Decor was just a bit run down. Bathroom tap barely reached sink so got water everywhere

Luxueus, topligging, vriendelijk personeel, super ontbijt, uitstekend bed. Aanrader!

Wij waren bewust rond 11 uur ‘s ochtends al bij het hotel met de bedoeling onze bagage te droppen zodat we de stad alvast konden gaan verkennen; dit was uiteraard geen probleem. Daarnaast werden we verrast met een gratis upgrade van een hotelkamer naar een appartement - deze was zeer ruim, erg netjes en mooi ingericht! Toen we in de loop van de middag terugkwamen om onze bagage op te halen was deze al naar het appartement gebracht (waarvoor dank!). The Rutland bevindt zich aan de rand van het centrum; the Royal Mile is een klein kwartiertje lopen.

Niet perse een tegenvaller maar een puntje van aandacht: Ontbijt was in het naastgelegen restaurant. Het ontbijt zelf was goed, alleen was er wat onduidelijkheid over of er al-dan-niet betaald moest worden. Uiteraard hoefde dat niet (we hadden bed & breakfast), het zou duidelijker zijn als men bij binnenkomst om de kamernummer had gevraagd en dan tekst/uitleg had gegeven. We zagen overigens dat het voor meerdere hotelgasten niet helemaal duidelijk was.

We were upgraded to an apartment because our room wasn’t ready yet which was very very nice! The room was awesome. The people were so friendly. I would definitely come back.

Room was excellent, very clean and well provided. Great hair dryer and staightners, water every day, coffee and tea facilities, a nice tea cake every day. Great shower and bathroom. We ate breakfast in the Huxley, the on site restaurant downstairs which is open to the public but is part of the hotel and was excellent. Guests receive a 20% discount. Location was excellent, very near the castle and Princes Street. Staff in the hotel including the Huxley were brilliant, very helpful and friendly.

Would have liked a bigger bed but that's a minor point. Everything else was great.

I loved our apartment. 19-3. So spacious and lovely decor. Bath products were nice. Huge kitchen. Breakfast t returns next door was delicious and got 20 percent off each meal. Nice compact gym

Gym should be cable by room key and not have to wit for busy front del staff. Hours are too short for gym.
