They didn’t get to keep track of my birthday. I love when rentals remember the reason you’re visiting. I was solo travelling for my birthday and thought they’d wish me a happy birthday at least. Amazing place though.
GBI had booked a hostel bed in a 4-bed room but when I arrived I realised I really just wanted a private room so I could properly relax - I received 5* hospitality and this was sorted out really quickly for me. The private room was great - gorgeous balcony sea views, quiet, private, very clean, and I slept comfortably. Really liked the convenience of the shuttle bus and being able to buy water/coffee at the bar.
The dorm room could have been a bit cleaner, and I couldn't find a way to get the toilet door to lock. Nothing bad to say about the private 3 bed room although it would be a very tight squeeze with 3 people in there.
