We stayed in villa #5 a 3 BR home. Very cosy & tranquil. The villa faces an. expansive well manicured grounds & matured trees. Short walk to a river trail. Staff were very friwndly and helful. The Lodge restaurant serves very good food.

Cute chalet on a beautiful wooded property with plenty of places to walk along a stream. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant in the lodge was great. Wished we could have stayed longer.

We love the park-like atmosphere that Tongariro Lodge provides. The 5bdr villa provided plenty of beds, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen facilities. We visited family staying in 2 bdr villa and were a little envious of their sizeable living areas.

Some elements (pantry, oven) were abit tired. But we felt the overnight rate reflected this.
