Munkebjerg Bed & Breakfast

The host was friendly and thinking along. The location is peaceful, quiet, rural and nearby the Vejle Fjord. There were also chickens, pheasants, swallows and a horse welcoming us :) Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. The beds were comfortable and the view from the window was fairytale like.

Soundproofing could be better. There was a small gap bellow the door that let through the sound from shared facilities (kitchenette/ living area).

A beautiful view from the window, you can even see wild animals, a quiet and cozy area for recreation, best suited for people with their own cars. It is convenient that there is a small kitchen on the 1st floor, because you can quickly prepare breakfast or just drink a cup of tea

The absence of any closet, however small, in the room there is enough space to simply have a few shelves for things, because it is difficult for a girl without it. The bathroom had quite a lot of dust on the chair and shelves, which is a problem for people with allergies

Wonderful and quiet location. Excellent breakfast from the host. Options to use the kitchen and BBQ. Note: You should have a car to leave here.

This property is out in the wilderness & we loved that about it! An old farm building but refurbished with all modern fittings. The rooms were beautiful, the kitchen fully functional, there's Netflix on the TV, free wifi. A cupboard was stocked with toys which was a welcome surprise for our 4-yr-old. We did not eat the breakfast but it sounded good. They also have a table tennis board & a foosball table in the breakfast room for anyone to try. But the main attraction for us was outdoors, there's a big yard for the kids to play in & rolling fields surrounding the house. They have horses, hens, a rabbit & a cat on the farm, great for kids! Also, a trampoline & outdoor seating for eating out on summer days. One could hear the birds chirping all day long, it was very beautiful :)

I would have preferred another bathroom, but we knew that when we were booking, so no complaints. Something to bear in mind is that restaurants & groceries are a bit further away from the hotel - good to know for planning ahead.

My partner and I came from the Netherlands to visit Legoland. This place was great to relax after some exciting and full days! Truly enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was a little expensive. However, the fresh eggs were very nice.
