Everything. The. Imminent areas were welcoming and comfortable. The people who owned it are lovely. Very accommodating.

It was a little further from the city than I thought. Easy bus ride into the city though.

Location was great. very convenient to Eden park.

The beautiful staff made us feel at home and the hotel is divine. A well maintained building to an impeccably high standard. Enjoyed our two nights here.

Air con or fans in rooms would be an added bonus for this gorgeous hotel.

Flowers in the entrance hall looked very like funeral flowers. Marketed as a hotel but definitely wasn't - it was more like a hostel. Private room but shared kitchen and allocated space in a common fridge. Misleading description of facilities in room - many were not actually in the room and some were entirely missing, eg no fan or air conditioning though room was advertised as having a fan. Dangerous balcony on first floor (no cover over large hole where fire escape ladder descended).

I stayed here for my first night in New Zealand and it was amazing. Absolutely beautiful place with a lovely garden and wonderful rooms, also really enjoyed the breakfast, Incredibly nice and helpful hosts!

Lovely area of Mount Eden. The hosts were lovely. The bed was large and comfortable.

The bed was almost too big, we didn’t have much space to lay out our luggage but as a negative it’s not a big deal.
