PET Apartments

I didn't get the chance to stay. After we were met outside and went through a little scary corridor barely big enough for three people and the same sort of elevator and got to the room, we were shown around, nice bathroom wasn't very keen with the bed and sofa. Anyway I went to the UK for some days before coming here and encountered some problems there, when I got to Budapest, someone took my luggage as well. I asked the guy if it was okay to pay the day before i check due to my problems, and I have a child with me. He made a call and the guy at the other end spoke at length, eventually I had to speak to him, he was loud and wouldn't agree to what I was saying, he kept asking when I could pay and when I answer he asks the same again. I finally told him I'll sort something out right away so he should give me til the next day cos to go to Atm. I gave the phone back to the guy with us and there was another long conversation, in the meantime, I had made a call and sorted things out but I didn't get the chance to to tell that cos I was told that if I couldn't pay right away i should leave, I showed the guy a message that confirmed that I've sorted things out but said I don't want to stay. He said he understood and was very kind to give me WiFi to find another hotel. I suppose i should thank the unsympathetic man cos I found a nicer hotel, with breakfast and AC much closer to the city centre at 8 euros less a day. With very nice and helpful staff.

IT was a very hot weekend, and an Air condition would have ben appreciated. But the big disappointment was the lousy kitchen equipement.. Not a coffeemaker as promised. The numbers and variety of kniver etc, and cooking gere webredaktør so fem that a metal could not be prepared and sinne There are no straff presentert in the weekend this could not be improved. A great potensial for improvement sine both rooms and space are good.

Stayed in this apartment for the formula one and it was perfect. Hassle free any help we needed we got. Brilliant.

Compared to the price of even the most basic of hotels this apartment is great value. A really large apartment on the 5th floor of this 19th century building. Based right in the heart of Budapest's city centre. All the facilities you would need, including wifi at no extra cost, clean and modern. This is a great place to stay and explore the city.

The apartment was comfortable, quiet and close to major attractions. There is no 24-hour desk as advertised. You need to contact the owner to make arrangements to enter the building. The apartment has a washer but no dryer. The hotel site says that credit cards are accepted but the owner asked for cash when checking in. Excellent price.

We stayed for a week in September and we couldn't have found a better place! On arrival the owner had given us a lot of useful advice on sightseeing, travel, shopping, eating out and even good exchange places in Budapest and provided us with maps of the city. The apartment is located in the centre of the Old Town, in Buda, and this location is perfect for sightseeing. There is a metro station and bus stops and tram just few meters from the flat. The place is spacious with double bedroom with a comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen (including the coffee machine!), living room, with a dining table for 4, sofas and a second double bed, and a clean, modern bathroom. All the furniture are modern and new, and the place is nicely decorated and clean. There is a fast wifi in the apartment as well, which is included in the price. Can highly recommend this place and we will definitely stay there again next time we visit Budapest!

Such a great place at such a good price! The apartment has everything you need even clothes pegs! The man who met us to let us in (we think its Andras, was welcoming and helpful). We were very happy with how quiet and peaceful the hotel was even when it was right in the centre. There is bike hire right round the corner and its easy access to public transport although we found we could walk most places. Would recommend to anyone who wants to pay a reasonable price for city centre location to choose this place.

My friend and I stayed at the PET apartments over Easter weekend. We were so pleased with it! Both of us had dietary restrictions, making it difficult to eat out. So, having a functioning kitchen was PERFECT! The beds were comfortable and all of the amenities were good. The apartment we were in had one room and a pull out bed. There only two of us, but the apartment could easily sleep two couples. The location was also perfect. It is close to many of the main attractions and only a few minutes walk to the major metro station. The only downside was that there was no place for us to leave our bags the day we left after we checked out. We were fortunate to find another hotel that would store our bags before we left the city for our flight home, but it was definitely a drag.

The apartment is large with 2 rooms and high ceilings. The interior is IKEA modern. The 2 full size beds and furniture are comfortable. The fully stocked galley kitchen makes it easy to buy groceries and cook, have a morning cup of coffee or make a quick sandwich before heading out the door to see the sights. Overall very clean; easy check-in and check-out; do bring your own toiletries including body wash; in the city center on a pedestrian street; you can walk out the door and immediately go shopping, grab a bite, check out a museum or take the metro. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time staying at this apartment. The size is big enough for two adults plus two small children. The location is right downtown! The check-in/check-out process is very simple. We really had a great time staying there.
