Hotel Hospedería Larrañaga

Sur la route des vacances, nous nous sommes arrêtés 2 fois dans cet hôtel restaurant. Le restaurant est grand, avec terrasse extérieur. Nombreux plats typiques et bons ( au passage, très bonne sangria et cidre de la région). Service impeccable, rapide et sympathique, il vaut mieux parler un peu espagnol mais il y a du free Wifi pour la traduction. Menu du jour à 12€ et menu de fête à 27€ boissons comprises très copieux et bon. L'accueil est très sympathique. Il y a 7 ou 8 chambres grandes avec belle salle de bain à l'architecture un peu médiéval. L'espace entre chambres est un grand salon avec billard ( photo). Le petit déjeuner servi par la maman super gentille est très copieux et varié. On y retrouve d'ailleurs les tartes et gâteaux proposés au menu du soir (photo). Parking assuré, hôtel dans un coin calme même si la scierie à côté pourrait en faire douter...en fait elle est peu bruyante. Cet hôtel est très recommandable tout comme le restaurant au rez de chaussée.

Close to coastal Northern Spain in the middle of nowhere. Excellent rooms, dining and such a beautiful historic building with wonderful hosts.

Hotel a las afueras de Azpeitia, tranquilo y apacible.Antigua hospederia , con muros de piedra enormes y decoración exquisita, adaptada y con todo tipo de comodidades.Dispone de wifi.Trato familiar,Olatz y su madre( no os podéis perder los platos y postres de su restaurante, muchas gracias)te hacen sentir como en casa.Gracias a todos y cada uno de los empleados por su amabilidad, en especial a Olatz , en el último momento no pudimos despedirnos, muchas gracias por tu atención y buen hacer ( asi da gusto ) y por vuestros consejos ( de las dos Olatz) para movernos por la zona.Seguro nos volvemos a ver.

This is where to experience the local culture. Local wedding was being held here. Not many foreigner turists stay here because it is not the tourist route. Food is great, clean room, not close to anything.

Welcoming, comfortable, Hotel at a unbelievable price. The staff were helpful, the food was great, it was a wonderful experience.

Excellent all round. My daughter had a tooth infection and was given paracetamol by one of the staff, gratefully received. Food was first class and we were treated in a friendly and courteous manner. No hesitation in recommending this Hotel to others.

It was a great discovery! The hotel is a nice building in a beautifull town with excellent views. If I stay again in Azpeitia, I will stay at Hotel Larrañaga again.

Enjoyed the convenience of the location for my business call, but if you are looking for a nightlife after the business day - this is not for you. I took this time at the hotel to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. The hotel is not air conditioned, but the old stone walls are 3 feet thick and keep the rooms comfortable (it was 85 degrees during my stay). The staff was great and the food good. I will return. 4 stars
