Captain's Hotel

A central location and easy access to restaurants and shopping as well as to the water front made the location great .. Some rooms have a direct view of the Red Sea, others with partial view. Rooms were clean and Tidy. Breakfast room was on the second floor with indoor or outdoor eating space. A nice variety of hot and cold food was available. The front desk reception was efficient and friendly. Other service staff were helpful as well. Would stay there again if ever I need the area.

For the price this is a good option in Aqaba. Several of the bathroom fixtures were worn, broken and not clean. The location is very convenient. The breakfast was above average for this price hotel in Aqaba. There is no hotel parking but the receptionist directed us to public parking nearby. I would stay here again if I needed an inexpensive hotel.

Located in the center of Aqaba and surrounded by Mini market, Restaurants, Cafes. Also walking distance to Hilton, Kempinski, Movempick hotels in case you want to visit their restaurants or bars with sea view. Spacious room and bathroom and clean. Rental car service at the lobby is also very convenient. You can also visit Zain Telecommunication company which is across the street from hotel to buy Jordanian sim card.

Great location, great staff, great restaurant, great value for the money. Only con is that the internet connection was flaky at best - the staf did their best to solve the problem but to no avail.

I arrived. No one helped me with my bags. They just watched me struggle. My check in was slow. My shower was broken and water poured all over the floor. I arranged a driver to Petra. They evening staff never informed the morning staff. I complained to the manager in the morning. She did nothing. She just said write your complaints down. Terrible customer service.

Great location, good breakfast, clean and comfortable room. The WiFi login is cumbersome and the WiFi wasn’t working most of the time.

The toilet was small and dirty. Decor around was as old as petra and dusty. No bottled water. No kettles.

Nice hotel. Great breakfast. The family room we were given had a great view but poor WiFi - we were given the option to move to a room with good WiFi but no view but preferred to stay in the room with the view.

Hotel not bad for one night while only visiting the city.

The hotel is heavily used in a busy part of town. We had to find parking, and wait while the staff found us the correct room. We found the bathroom and common areas in need of some updating. The price suggests a more upscale hotel than what we found. It is close to restaurants and shops, but we had to drive quite a way to find a reasonable beach. The real confusion came at check out time, when the staff were not sure how to charge us and later emailed us to exact another charge. We felt the hotel understaffed and didn't really have time for us.
