The best thing about this hotel is it's location. This hotel is 1/2 block from the Oktegon Metro Station, 1/2 block from the 105 Bus Line which takes you directly to the bottom of Buda Castle, and 1/2 block from the local grocery store. The room has a refrigerator so it makes it convenient. The rooms are adequately sized, but was disappointed that you must pay extra daily charge if you want air conditioning in the room. Upon request they did provide a fan in the room, as an alternative to paying the additional daily charge for air conditioning.

Pros: - Good location - Secure entry to the building and the rooms (on the 5th floor) - Inexpensive Cons: - Requested a room with 3 twin beds, got a room with a double and a twin instead. - AC is an additional 5 EUR/night, and there is no fan. Stayed during the summer so the room was quite warm at night.

Sehr zentral gelegen. Sehr ruhig trotz befahrener Strasse, da die Fenster gut schliessen. Keine Klimaanlage. Sehr schönes altes Haus mit Innenhof. Küche inkl. Kaffeemaschine zum gemeinsamen Gebrauch. U-Bahn Station ist sehr nah. Gutes W-Lan.

Bed was a bit small for 2 big guys, but all arrangements and payments were smooth, and the location is super for getting around town. Would like a 'do not disturb'-sign for those persistent hangovers. Shower was unimpressive, but the service was always with a smile :-)

Et enkelt lite hotell beliggende på 5. etg med en eldre heis som fører en opp dit. Her kan man komme og gå som man vil med egen nøkkel og døråpner til ytterdør og port. Verten er bare tidvis tilstede. Nede på gaten er det Spar-butikk på hjørnet. På andre siden av gaten skrått mot åttekantplassen et frokoststed hvor man kan spise for ca en femtilapp og oppover. Motsatt ende av kvartalet mange spisesteder. Ca 10 min gange til House of terror, et «must see» for tilhengere av frihet og demokrati ! Det er trikk og Metro tett på, hvor man for 10-12 kr kommer seg rundt i byen. Stopp 10 på Hop on-hop of - turistbusser i nærheten.

Important tip: Make sure you tell the owner when you are arriving! His contact details are given, and he also emailed us a reminder the day before. He is not always around, so it's important to call/email him if you want to check in promptly. Pros: - Location is close to the popular tourist attractions - Street is full of pubs and bars, as well as restaurants - There is a common kitchen and lounge available to all the tenants (microwave, stove, fridge and things like plates, bowls, pots, cutlery etc). Cons: - If your room faces out to the street, it is very noisy! We stayed in the one facing the interior courtyard, which was quiet - There is no air conditioning in the rooms. And additional fee is charged for AC. - Payment is in cash only

a unique type of hotel! We enjoyed having the use of the kitchen and living area. Very private and quiet.
