Riad Dar Karma

We loved everything about our stay at the Riad Dar Karma. It is a quiet oasis in the midst of the noisy Kasbah outside. We arrived late at night, but the night manager took care of our luggage while sat back and enjoyed some mint tea and pastries by the pool. The rooms here are all quite unique, differing in size and decor. Ours was very comfortable, overlooking the pool. We met the manager, Naoual, the next morning. She was welcoming and friendly. She also is great at recommending and arranging restaurant reservations, drivers, tour guides, etc. We were helped by her multiple times. The rest of the staff are equally friendly and helpful, always checking to see if there is anything they can do for you. Breakfast is pleasant and plentiful in the small courtyard. The menu varies some each day, but I guarantee you won’t leave hungry. We also took advantage of the onsite hammam and rooftop terrace to receive a steam, scrub, and massage. It was the perfect respite after a day out touring. Given that we were leaving on a night flight, we had dinner at the hotel. It was delicious and reasonably priced, All in all, we had a very pleasant 5-day stay at Riad Dar Karma. Should we ever return, we will definitely stay there again!

Difficile de ne pas être totalement emballé par ce Riad magnifique, calme, avec un personnel absolument professionnel et disponible. Le petit déjeuner copieux, dans ce salon au coin du feu de Janvier restera bien longtemps dans mes souvenirs si positifs de ce voyage à Marrakech

We spent a very pleasant few days at Riad Dar Karma in mid-October 2025. The Regine suite was fine, with all the amenities, although the bed was perhaps a little narrow for our liking; it wasn't quite king size (with a minimum width of 1.80m) but more of a queen size. The atmosphere inside the riad is very peaceful, perfect for total relaxation with its beautiful inner courtyards. The location is good, away from the hustle and bustle yet close to everything. At the time of our stay, I was using crutches, but that didn't stop me from enjoying Marrakech, one of my favorite cities. The breakfast was good, typical of Morocco, with excellent coffee and, in my opinion, the best freshly squeezed orange juice in the world. We would have liked to try their food at dinner, but they don't sell alcohol, and we can't imagine a good meal without a bottle of wine. Naoual, a charming lady, was always attentive to us. We would definitely return; our mouths water just thinking about that orange juice!

Not a heated pool

Ce ryad figure parmi les plus beaux de la ville. Ses différents espaces invitent à l’évasion et au dépaysement. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le hammam et le gommage, réalisés de manière remarquable. Le personnel est accueillant, professionnel et très sympathique. Les chambres, joliment décorées, offrent tout le confort nécessaire pour un séjour agréable.
