The staff were friendly and the greeting was great. Our room was traditional moroccan style on the roof terrace and was quirky and charming. There was a pool and jacuzzi however, we did not use it. The staff were very accomodating making us breakfast before the stated times. The hotel itself is unique but exactly the style you want to experience when attending moroccon. The location could have been slightly better but is still in a good location.

Some works were going on which limitied our time on the terrace however, I understand we went in Feb so this would be the best time for them to carry out repairs. Breakfast could be a bit better and the location is not the best but is still good which I guess reflects the price of the hotel.

Sehr geschmackvolles und ruhiges Riad, im Winter (November - März) trocken und warm, durch die professionelle Überdachung des Patios. Wunderschöne Aufenthaltsräume (TV vorhanden). Hier und im Paito wird gefrühstückt, oder auch zu Abend gegessen. Im Sommer wird die Überdachung abgebaut. Äusserst zuvorkommendes hilfbereites Personal und die Möglichkeit es sich bei Sonnenschein auf der Dachterasse auf den bequemen Liegen, mit Sonnenschirm und Jacuzzi gemütlich zu machen. Zimmer und Bäder sind groß, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber, wie das gesamte Riad. Es gibt die Möglichkeit ein HAMAM Aufenthalt inkl. Massagen zu buchen, was wir gnutzt haben. Eine sehr wohltuende Erfahrung. Frühstück und Abedessen, schmeckten hervorragend und war reichlich. Die Lage ist etwas am Rand der Medina, fußläufig ist der Djemaa el Fna - bei guter Orientierung - in 10-15 Minuten zu erreichen.

Locatie was verrassend - echt in typische 'kruip door, sluip door' steegje en dan in een keer een oase achter de karakteristieke rode deur - La Porte Rouge. De gastvriendelijkheid was top! We hebben twee keer genoten van het diner - typisch Marokkaans, eenvoudig maar goed. Aanrader!

Le riad est magnifique. Le fait qu'il soit légèrement excentré de la Medina le rend plus calme, il est facile de se garer à proximité. Le pett déjeuner est excellent, le jacuzzi et les massages très appréciables. Mais surtout, l'accueil de Mustapha ! Nous avons plus eu l'impression d'être logé chez un ami qui nous aurait accueilli chez lui que dans un hotel : chaleureux, aux petits soins, faisant tout pour rendre notre séjour agréable tout en restant discret. De très bon conseil, amical, il était facile et agréable de discuter avec lui. Nous reviendrons à Marrakech et nous savons déjà où nous irons !

Nous avons passé 2 nuits au Riad La Porte Rouge et nous en gardons un excellent souvenir. Accueil chaleureux, professionnalisme et grande bienveillance de toute l’équipe. Le riad est charmant, traditionnel et idéalement situé à proximité de la Médina. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !
