Hotel Bahia Chac Chi

Location is very convenient, close to the piers and the centro! It was clean and it provided good facilities, coffee maker a big thing for me and a welcome coffee kit. Shower worked very well and beds are comfortable. Staff was nice, not overnice ;)

I know it’s a personal issue but I’ve looked for a unit with view and balcony and indeed I got it. Had view to the sea on a generous large balcony. However it seems the policy does not allow for smoking any kind of smoke anywhere including the balcony. Sorry but that is a complete turn off for me as I like my coffee and glass of wine accompanied by a smoke. This ruined the whole experience as I had to go out sometimes taking the coffee with me and sitting on a bench. It kind of beats the purpose, so, as far as I’m concerned all in all it was a bad value for money. I read some nasty comments as they could get quite aggressive on the topic. Anyways not my cup of coffee, that is. The pool looks good and clean but there’s no desire to use it as sun almost never gets there being surrounded by the hotel walls themselves. Can’t say it’s their fault but typically that’s the trade off: nice view, big noise. My unit (with the nice view) was straight on the main street so expect noise from running cars and the likes.

The staff were great and keen to help with local information and luggage.

The location of the hotel is right next to the Ferry station and it was easy to reach it with luggage. The room was clean and comfortable. We asked for a quiet room and they gave us the one which overlooks the pool. It was very quiet. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel provided beach towels which was a good surprise for us.

Nos engañaron, jugaron con nuestra seguridad, nos hablaban de malas formas y en tono amenazante, nos tuvieron que cambiar de habitación porque no ofrecen lo que venden. Un desastre. Solo tienen que ver cómo estaban los cables de el aire acondicionado conectados porque no nos funcionaba y tuvieron que venir en cuatro ocasiones a ver por qué era, tenían habitaciones libres y nos mentían para no dárnoslas unos empleados, nos decían una mentira y otros la contraria… podríamos haber salido ardiendo en cualquier instante…
