Comfort Suites Buda - Austin South

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the front desk staff were exceptionally accommodating and helpful throughout our visit. The pool was clean and refreshing, and we appreciated the happy hour offered at the hotel bar. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel’s location in South Austin was convenient and made it easy to get around. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip to Austin!

I was sooooo disappointed in the quality of bedding provided. Basically were given just a SHEET to sleep with. It was horrible, uncomfortable. Definitely not the plush night’s stay I was expecting. The room was otherwise spacious and the amenities were good. Breakfast was great. Staff was amazingly friendly!!! Don’t cheap out on us!

How conveniently everything was with closeness to the hotel and the traffic was not as bad.

How thin walls were that it made my dog bark for any movement.

Property was in a great location for us with most gas/convenience stores/groceries nearby. Good breakfast. Beds were comfy. I was contacted roughly 2 hours after check out that I had left behind my Apple Watch and “Maritza” offered to mail it free of charge! I am eternally grateful for the housekeeping staff for rightfully turning it in and for Maritza’s above and beyond kindness!!!

Found items assumed to be left behind from previous travelers so cleaning must not have been very thorough, although I will say the room/bathroom itself appeared clean upon entering! Water pressure was TERRIBLE, but we made it work.

When I checked in the property the staff gave me a room which was dirty and then I have to come down and ask for a new room. When I checked out of the property I gave the keys to the front desk and left after confirming. The front desk didn’t check me out properly so I was charged an extra day. I have been following up with the hotel for past 2 weeks. I don’t see any action from the hotel to refund my money. I have to loose my hard earned money because of some careless people at front desk . Never recommend this hotel to anyone. People please stay away from this property. Horrible customer service.

I've stayed here about 4-5 times since it opened and it is deteriorating slowly. The bathrooms need to be redone. The grout is off color, the shower curtains are ripped. The room smells a bit damp/ musky. The beds are great, clean and comfortable.

During my six-night stay, I found the hot breakfast offerings to be exceptionally enjoyable. I would like to commend the individual responsible for managing the kitchen and dining area for her diligent attention. She consistently monitored the cleanliness of the tables and ensured that eggs, bacon, and sausage were replenished on the warming burners. I believe she deserves recognition as Employee of the Month or Year and should be considered for a substantial salary increase in acknowledgment of her outstanding contributions.

This was my fourth stay in a room designated for individuals with disabilities. During my last two visits, which were two years apart, I encountered an ongoing issue with the coffee pot; specifically, it was missing the coffee bag tray. I communicated this concern to the desk staff on two separate mornings. When a female staff member informed me that the hotel did not have any available trays, I expressed my frustration in writing, as I am deaf. She responded with a shrug, prompting me to consider checking out and relocating to a nearby hotel. However, upon my return from a visit to the town of Buda, I discovered that a replacement coffee bag tray had been provided, wrapped in cellophane. Consequently, I chose to extend my stay for an additional three nights.
