Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Belvoir Alexandria South

Room was immaculate, as it has been on our last stays. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of variety, and a cheerful, helpful staff.

My ONLY complaint was that the towels, while clean, were yellowed- they need bleaching or replacing.

I booked for same night while en route. I mistakenly booked the next Sunday night. We arrived within the hour and front dek person said he would cancel the wrong booking and booked me for that night. Later the next week I got an email about my upcoming reservation that I thought was cancelled. I reached out to booking.com and then directly to the property and they said they would not refund for my booking mistake. Also bathroom had a slow leak from behind toilet and the floor was sticky and noted brown drops on floor. They said housekeeping could come clean it when they got in at 9 am but we needed to get on the road so my husband went down to get extra towels to drape the floor.

It was very convenient and comfortable stay

I wish there was some outdoor seating. It was a lovely few days and we felt a bit like we were stuck indoors after our day.

Food was very good for morning breakfast and big selection. Staff was excellent! Clean place considering how many people flow through there.

More places to sit for breakfast.
