The Amberson House Bed & Breakfast

Great downtown location!

Amanda what is a cordial hostess, describing the history of the house. She also served a delicious home cooked breakfast on a well set table, consisting of eggs made to order, sausage, fresh, fruit, fresh, blueberry, pancakes, and freshly brewed coffee.

Very nice B&B with friendly and helpful staff, good food, comfortable beds and rooms, and a very nice atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit here if you are coming to the area or passing through.

The Amberson is a delightful BnB in Waynesboro run by a daughter and her mother. Both were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely. As we the other guests we met around the outdoor fire pit out back.

Charming 19th century house with an excellent conversion to a b&b without loosing its charm or authenticity. Amanda was great!!!

We felt as if we were staying in a very unique museum. We were temporarily living in a different time period . Furniture, decor, room arrangement were very inviting and very well maintained. Wall hangings, sculptures, bedding and even cameos on the window curtains! We could have stayed for days and continually found new surprises. Our hosts were most gracious and very personable. Breakfast was not only very good but so artfully presented. Hope to have the opportunity to return for a longer stay. Only complaint: outdoor traffic could be quite loud and distractive.

The owners were so friendly and accommodating. Loved that their dog Teddy hangs out at the B&B. We will definitely be returning in the future.

This B&B is in a renovated residence dated from 1887-they have one room without stairs, which we were transferred into, without asking, since we walk with canes. A hot breakfast was freshly cooked for us. The house is located one block from restaurants, and a laundromat, down Main St. Our hostess told us that many of her guests visit while hiking the Appalachian Trail. There is coffee/tea,and cookies available 24hrs. My wife loved their mattress, but it wouldn't fit in her suitcase. There is parking in the back, with entry via an alleyway. It is a little tricky as one-way streets make only one-way into the alley. We would definitely stay again.

This was a great little find!! The house is adorable, very clean, beautifully decorated. Each room is unique. We stayed in the magnolia room and loved it. Amanda was very good with communication and accommodating. Highly recommend
