Overpriced for quality of room

Sheets were clean. TV worked. Guy in reception was pleasant. Maybe they're trying to update a day at a time.

No coffee maker. Room very dated and in need of attention. Peeling silver and pink wallpaper? Ugh. Reception area a mess. But no hot water is the deal breaker. In summary, a dump.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel. We bought our own. We were not told about breakfast upon check in.

The room was smaller than expected. The coat rack is right above the microwave, which was on top of the refrigerator. In the bathroom, if exhaust fan is turned on, it becomes very hot inside like a sauna. When I booked the room, I thought it was $130.00 per room, but it turned out to be $150.00 per room plus taxes so I paid a total of $167.50 per room. It wasn't worth the value, but we needed a place to stay overnight so it serves the purpose and we are still grateful we were safe.

The price for this motel was good. I shade last year, it was clean and neat. The manager was very pleasant

. The decor, with very old wallpaper everywhere is sad, the furniture very dated. The use of several extension instead of adequate outlets made me nervous.The room had 2 queen beds. The one I chose felt like I was sleeping on a piece of plywood. I moved to the other bed, and it was acceptable.

We had a quick overnight in the area & this motel was a good value. Close to the highway & walking distance to restaurants, coffee & town. Check in was easy, staff is very kind & friendly. Our room was very basic but spacious & clean. We slept well. We would definitely stay here again.

I think some of the unfavorable reviews I have seen are unfair. Everything is relative and, yes, this is clearly an older property that appears to be privately owned. Notwithstanding its age and some of the dated decor and furnishing, my room was very clean (cleaner than some I have stayed in at upscale hotels). It was one of the coldest nights of the year and the heat worked well and the water was hot. The television and WiFi worked and for my purposes (a one night layover on my way to visit relatives in Western New York) it was great value and convenient in terms of location to I-90. The owner/manager was very polite and professional.

Bed wasn't clean and comfortable. However its convenient location for highway access.
